Under Post to Discord on your dashboard, press Select channel and pick one in Discord's own picker. A private team channel gets each new subscriber with their price, plus cancellations and refunds; a public welcome channel greets each new member by name.
The bot needs no permission to post in the channel. Picking it in Discord creates a webhook for that channel, and the lines are posted through it under flatpass’s name.
The team channel is for you and whoever helps you run the server, so make it a private one. Each new subscriber is posted with their tier and price, and a trial start with its length and the price after it. A line follows when a membership ends, when a payment is fully refunded and when a member disputes a payment; after a refund or a dispute it says the role was removed. Names are clickable, and nobody is pinged.
The welcome channel is public. Each new member is welcomed there, trial starts included, by name and with one ping to them and nobody else. It never shows a price, a cancellation or a refund. Turn off Ping the new member and the welcome names nobody and pings nobody.
Both channels post in your server’s language, which you set on your dashboard. @everyone and roles are never pinged.
A cancellation is posted when the membership ends. That is the end of the period a member cancelled, or the point Stripe stops retrying a failed renewal, which is also when the role comes off. Pressing cancel posts nothing.
A missed line never touches a membership. If the channel or its webhook is deleted in Discord, the row on your dashboard says the connection was removed and offers Select channel again. Change channel moves the posts somewhere else, and Disconnect stops them.
/flatpass panel in the channel you want it in and pin the plans panel it posts; members subscribe from its buttons.Ask in the flatpass Discord, or email support@flatpass.io. Both are read by the people who build it.
