How do I set up flatpass?Add the bot, connect Stripe, pick a role, set a price — about ten minutes, most of it Stripe's own identity check.
How do I connect my Stripe account?Press Connect Stripe on your dashboard and finish Stripe's onboarding, about ten minutes; no API key is pasted and you can revoke it from Stripe.
How do I let members subscribe from inside Discord?Run /flatpass panel in the channel you want it in and pin the card it posts; members subscribe from its buttons.
Why isn't the bot assigning the role?Discord creates the bot's own role at the bottom of the list, and a bot can only assign roles below it. Drag flatpass above the role you sell.
How do I delete or hide a tier?Archive it. The tier comes off your invite page at once, you choose whether current members keep their access or end at their period's end, and Restore puts it back. There's no hard delete.
How do I change a tier's price?Edit the tier and save the new amount. Members already subscribed keep the price they signed up at; only new checkouts pay the new one.
Can I offer a free tier?Yes, one per server, and free members never count toward the paid-member cap. Whether a tier is free is fixed when you create it.
How do promo codes and free trials work?Both are set on your dashboard; members type a code on your invite page before checkout. A code replaces the trial rather than stacking with it, and a 100%-off-forever code is a comp with no Stripe subscription at all.
How do I refund a member, and what happens to their role?In your own Stripe dashboard — the charge was direct, so flatpass has no refund button. A full refund ends the membership and takes the role off; a partial one changes nothing.
How do I see who is paying?Your dashboard lists every member with their tier, status and renewal date, above tiles for revenue and active subscribers and a breakdown of where your invite-page traffic came from.
What happens when I pass 15 paying members?Nothing for 7 days — signups keep working and the dashboard counts down. Only then do new checkouts pause; existing members are never touched.
What permissions does the bot need?Manage Roles and Create Invite. Never Administrator, and it cannot read your members' messages.
