Yes: create an offer of the kind One payment, fixed dates. Each buyer pays once and has its Discord role until the end date and time you set, the same for everyone, and flatpass takes the role off then.
One payment, and the role straight away. The buyer pays once, by card, and the bot gives them the offer’s Discord role as soon as Stripe confirms the payment. There is no subscription, so nothing renews and they are never charged again.
Access until one moment, the same for everyone. The role stays on until the end date and time you set, whenever someone bought. Every date the offer shows is in the time zone you picked for it, with its abbreviation.
Sold wherever your tiers are. Your invite page, the buttons on a plans panel in Discord, the offer’s own plan link, and the checkout links the bot sends by DM all sell it.
On every flatpass plan, Free included. flatpass takes no fee from a sale, and buyers of a fixed-date offer never count toward your plan’s paid-member cap.
At the end time, flatpass takes the role off every buyer on its own. There is nothing to press, and nobody is charged.
If the bot isn’t in your server at that moment, flatpass can’t take the role off. Those buyers show Role not removed on your dashboard: take the role off in Discord yourself, or add the bot back and press Remove role.
Once every place is taken, the offer stops selling and buyers are told it’s sold out. A full refund, or a dispute while it’s open, gives that buyer’s place back.
A buyer who has opened checkout holds a place while they pay. If the last places are held only by open checkouts, buyers are told how many people are still paying and when the first of those places could free up, and each one comes back if its checkout ends unpaid. Whoever tries again first after that gets it; there is no queue.
Access ends: later, never earlier. You can move the end later at any time before it passes, and every buyer’s access moves with it. Once anyone has bought, or is in the middle of paying, it can’t move earlier.
Sales close and places. Move the close to any time between now and the end, and raise or lower the places, but never below the number already sold or being paid for right now.
Each run is its own offer. A new cohort or season is a new offer with a new role, so one run’s buyers and dates never mix with the next. There is no way to copy a run yet; archive the old one when it’s over.
Refunds are yours, in your own Stripe dashboard. A full refund takes the role off at once and frees the place; a partial one keeps the buyer’s access to the end date. As with any other refund, the money is on your account, not flatpass’s.
A dispute. If a buyer disputes the charge with their bank, the role comes off while the case is open and the place is freed. Win it before access ends and the role comes back; lose it and their access is over.
Archiving takes the offer off sale everywhere at once and asks what happens to the people who bought it: keep their access to the end date, or end it now. Ending it now refunds nothing, so if you mean to give money back, refund in Stripe first. It ends the offer itself, too: a checkout still open can no longer be paid, anyone whose payment goes through in that moment is refunded in full, and restoring the offer later brings it back ended, not on sale.
Buyers appear in your member list. A one-off payment isn’t monthly revenue, so they stay out of your monthly revenue and active subscribers, and the dashboard counts them under Passes sold this month instead.
Referral commission is earned on subscriptions only, so a sale of a fixed-date offer earns a referrer nothing.
Entry to a competition with a cash prize. Stripe doesn’t allow charging to enter a game of skill or of chance with a prize to win, so a fixed-date offer can’t sell places in a tournament or contest that pays out money.
Lifetime access, or a set number of days from each purchase. Neither exists yet: every fixed-date offer ends at the same moment for all its buyers. flatpass also doesn’t send class times or calendar invites, and a sale can’t be split between co-hosts.
Ask in the flatpass Discord, or email support@flatpass.io. Both are read by the people who build it.
