Charge monthly for Discord access on your own Stripe, with the role assigned automatically

Your members pay into your own Stripe account, get their Discord role seconds after paying, and lose it when their subscription ends. flatpass takes no percentage of your sales: the only percentage is Stripe's processing, on your own account, and you pay a flat monthly plan, free up to 15 paid members. LaunchPass runs on your own Stripe too, and adds $29 a month per community plus 3.5% of every sale.

LaunchPass's fees checked on launchpass.com on October 11, 2026; PayBot's on paybotapp.com on October 11, 2026.

Three bots that charge on your own Stripe

LaunchPass, PayBot and flatpass all send your members' payments straight to your Stripe account. What differs is what each adds to Stripe's fee.

In short

To sell access to a signals, forex or crypto Discord with Stripe, use a bot that connects your own Stripe account and assigns a role when a member pays. flatpass, LaunchPass and PayBot all work that way, and the money lands in your account on all three; what differs is the bill. flatpass takes 0% of sales and charges a flat monthly plan, free up to 15 paid members. LaunchPass charges $29 a month per community plus 3.5% of every sale, and PayBot 3% of every sale with no monthly fee. Stripe's processing applies on your own account with all three.

LaunchPass: launchpass.com ($29 a month + 3.5% transaction fee on Premium) and its Help Center (billed per community; Stripe’s fees separate), read October 11, 2026. PayBot: paybotapp.com/pricing (3% of each sale, no monthly fee, Stripe’s processing separate), read October 11, 2026. Every bill uses Stripe’s standard US card rate on all three sides; your account’s rate depends on your country. Each platform’s rates, with their dates: the fee dataset.

An example

With 40 members paying $50 a month ($2,000 a month in sales), your whole flatpass bill is $99 a month: the Starter plan plus Stripe's processing on your own account. The same month costs about $130 on PayBot and $169 on LaunchPass, Stripe included on both. The gap grows as you sell more, because their percentage grows with your sales and flatpass's plan price doesn't.

flatpass charges by paid members, not by your sales: free up to 15, then $29, $79 or $149 a month up to 80, 200 and 750 paid members, and $399 a month with no limit. No plan takes a percentage of your sales, and roles with no price don't count.

Where LaunchPass or PayBot is the better pick

They do things flatpass doesn't. If one of these is yours, pick them.

16 to 19 members · PayBot costs less20 or more · flatpass costs less

A few paid members and no monthly bill

PayBot has no monthly fee, so a small room pays only its 3%. At $50 a member, PayBot's bill is the lower one from 16 to 19 paid members. Up to 15 flatpass is free, and from 20 it costs less every month. LaunchPass's bill isn't the lower one at any member count at this price.

How it works on your own Stripe

flatpass uses Stripe Connect Standard: you are the merchant of record, and payments go straight to your account.

Step 1 · ~10 min

Add the bot and connect Stripe

Install flatpass, pick your country, and finish the authorization on Stripe's own onboarding screens. Live-mode onboarding wants photo ID and bank details — that is Stripe asking, and none of it passes through flatpass.

Step 2 · ~5 min

Point it at the role you already use

Pick the Discord role your paid members hold and set a price. Nothing about the role changes, so existing members keep their access while you set it up. Add a second tier if you sell more than one thing.

flatpass.io/invite/your-server

Step 3 · ~1 min

Share your invite page

Your invite page builds itself from what Discord already knows about your server. Post it, pin it, or put it in your bio — and tag any link you share so you can see which one actually converts.

The role is assigned seconds after a successful payment and removed when the subscription ends, so nobody keeps access they stopped paying for and no moderator has to check a list. The member stays in your server; only the paid role comes off. If a renewal fails, they keep the role while Stripe retries the card, and Stripe emails them to update it.

Common questions

What's the best way to sell access to a forex Discord server with Stripe?

Use a bot that connects your own Stripe account and assigns a Discord role when a member pays, so the money settles in your account and access follows the subscription. flatpass, LaunchPass and PayBot all work that way. flatpass takes 0% of sales on a flat monthly plan, free up to 15 paid members; LaunchPass takes $29 a month per community plus 3.5%, and PayBot 3% with no monthly fee. At 40 members paying $50 a month, the whole bill is $99 on flatpass, about $130 on PayBot and $169 on LaunchPass, Stripe's processing included.

Is there a Discord bot that charges subscriptions through my own Stripe and gives the role automatically?

Yes. flatpass connects your own Stripe account through Stripe Connect Standard, and its bot assigns the role seconds after a successful payment and takes it off when the subscription ends. Add the bot, connect Stripe, pick the role and set a price; Stripe's own onboarding is the long part, at about ten minutes.

How is flatpass different from LaunchPass?

Both run on your own Stripe account, and your customers and payment history stay yours on either. LaunchPass charges $29 a month per community plus 3.5% of every sale; flatpass charges one flat monthly plan per seller, free up to 15 paid members, and 0% of sales. When a membership ends, flatpass takes the paid role off and the member stays in your server; LaunchPass kicks them from the server by default, and removing the role instead is a setting. The full LaunchPass comparison.

When is the role assigned, and what happens if a card fails?

The role is assigned seconds after a successful payment and removed when the subscription ends, so nobody keeps access they stopped paying for and no moderator has to check a list. The member stays in your server; only the paid role comes off. If a renewal fails, they keep the role while Stripe retries the card, and Stripe emails them to update it.

Who holds the money?

Your own Stripe account, through Stripe Connect Standard. You complete the onboarding on Stripe's own screens, you are the merchant of record, member payments settle directly to you rather than into a platform balance you withdraw from, and you keep your customer list and payment history if you leave. flatpass never sees a card and never holds your money.

Will Stripe accept my signals or trading-education business?

That is Stripe's decision, made on your own account. With flatpass you are the merchant of record, so Stripe reviews your account and your business, not flatpass's: it verifies every account that takes money, and it can ask for more details after you're live. Stripe lists the businesses it doesn't support, and the ones it supports only with its approval, on its Prohibited and Restricted Businesses page, including some rules that apply only in certain countries. flatpass can't approve a business for Stripe or speak for its review.

Do I need a Stripe account already?

No. You create one during signup, and Stripe's onboarding takes about 10 minutes — it asks for photo ID and bank details, so have those to hand. Already have a Stripe account? Connect it with one click. Stripe Tax is built into the account: optional, and free to turn on for threshold monitoring.

Can I build the Stripe and Discord integration myself?

Yes. It takes a Stripe account link, a webhook endpoint for the subscription events, and a Discord bot with Manage Roles that adds and removes the role, plus the edge cases: retries, refunds, chargebacks and members who leave and rejoin. How to connect Stripe to Discord roles walks through each part.
