What is flatpass?

flatpass turns Discord roles into paid subscriptions that settle in the seller's own Stripe account through Stripe Connect Standard; flatpass never holds funds. Members subscribe on a hosted invite page (one per server), sign in with Discord, pay on Stripe Checkout, and the bot assigns the role in seconds and removes it when the subscription ends. Pricing is a flat monthly plan — free up to 15 paying members, then $29, $79 or $149 a month for up to 80, 200 and 750, and $399 uncapped — and flatpass takes 0% of sales on every plan. Stripe's card-processing fees apply, as on every platform.

Does flatpass give members the role automatically?

Yes. Members get the role within seconds of paying, and it’s removed when their subscription ends, so nobody on your team adds or checks roles by hand. How roles are given and removed.

What happens when a member cancels or a payment fails?

A member who cancels keeps the role until the end of the period they’ve paid for, then it’s removed. If a renewal fails, they keep it while Stripe retries the card; if the subscription then ends, the role comes off. Every case, including refunds.

What happens to my Stripe account if I cancel?

Nothing. You connected your own account via Stripe Connect Standard, so it — plus your customer data and payment history — stays with you.

How does billing and cancellation work?

Free while you have up to 15 active paid members, then a flat monthly tier by community size — US$29, $79 or $149 for up to 80, 200 and 750 paid members. Never a percentage of your sales. Where Stripe supports it, checkout shows and bills the equivalent in your local currency. Do I need a Stripe account already?

No. You create one during signup, and Stripe's onboarding takes about 10 minutes — it asks for photo ID and bank details, so have those to hand. Already have a Stripe account? Connect it with one click. Stripe Tax is built into the account: optional, and free to turn on for threshold monitoring.

What payment methods do my members get?

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more), Apple Pay, and Google Pay — all enabled automatically through Stripe.

I'm based outside the US. Can I use flatpass?

Yes. flatpass is EU-based (Germany) and works with Stripe accounts in any country Stripe supports — you pick your country during onboarding. You price your roles in your own Stripe currency, your members see local prices at checkout, and your monthly tier bills in your local currency where Stripe supports it.
