Yes. Members get the role within seconds of paying, and the bot removes it when their subscription ends, so nobody on your team adds or checks roles by hand.
As soon as Stripe confirms a member’s checkout, the bot adds the role that tier sells, within seconds. If you’ve turned on a free trial, the member gets the role when the trial starts and is charged when it ends.
A buyer who isn’t in your server yet, because they paid from a link you posted somewhere else, is added to it with the role already on.
When the subscription ends: at the end of the period a member paid for after they cancel, when Stripe’s retries on a failed renewal run out, on a full refund, or while a member has paused. A failed renewal on its own doesn’t remove it; the member keeps the role while Stripe retries the card. What happens when a member stops paying goes through each case.
You choose which Discord role each tier sells when you create the tier. The one thing Discord needs from you is the order of your roles list: flatpass’s own role has to sit above the role it sells, or Discord won’t let the bot give it out. How to fix the role order.
