Open the tier on your dashboard and choose Archive — it comes off your invite page immediately, and you choose whether the members already on it keep their subscription or end it at their period's end. There is no hard delete.
The tier stops being buyable everywhere at once: it disappears from your invite page, the Subscribe button on every link you have shared stops working, and it is gone from /join. It also drops out of your sitemap.
A pinned /flatpass panelcard is rewritten to match, so the tier’s block and its buttons disappear from it without you posting it again.
Keep current members. They stay subscribed and keep the role until they cancel. Nobody new can join. Everything they rely on carries on working — /membership, their billing page, renewals and role sync all follow the membership rather than the tier, so an archived tier is invisible to them.
End memberships at the end of each member's current period. They keep what they have paid for, and the role comes off when that period runs out — one member at a time, on their own dates. Nothing is refunded.
On a free tier the second choice reads differently, because there is nothing to run down: keeping members leaves the role on until they leave your server, and ending them takes the role off now.
What archiving never does, on either choice: end a paid subscription on the spot, or refund anything. Your decision to stop selling a tier is not a member’s refund, and nobody loses time they have already paid for.
Archived tiers collect in an Archived section at the foot of your tier list, most recent first, each with the date you archived it and how many members are still on it. Restore puts one back on your invite page at the prices it had.
Restore does not undo what the archive did to memberships. It will not put the role back on members you ended, and it does not call off a cancellation Stripe is already holding.
Two things refuse a restore, each saying which: the tier’s Discord role being one the bot can no longer assign, which is the same fix as when you created it, and — for a free tier — your server already having a live one. Archive that one first.
flatpass doesn’t delete the role or rename it, and the only time it takes the role off anybody is the “end memberships” choice above, exactly as that choice describes. Archiving changes what you sell, not your server.
There is no hard delete. Memberships, your activity log, promo codes and your own Stripe objects all point at the tier, so removing the row outright would either take a paying member’s record with it or fail. Archive is the answer, and an archived tier costs you nothing.
One tier per Discord role, archived ones included. While an archived tier holds a role you cannot create a second tier on that role. Restore the archived one and edit it, or use a different role.
A tier's name, and whether it is free or paid, are still fixed at creation. Archiving doesn’t change that — but it does make the way round it a real one: archive the old tier and publish a new one on another role. That is what the dashboard now means when it says a server already has a free tier and to archive it first.
Edit the tier and save the new amount. Members already subscribed keep the price they signed up at; only new checkouts pay the new one.
Yes, one per server, and free members never count toward the paid-member cap. Whether a tier is free is fixed when you create it.
Run /flatpass panel in the channel you want it in and pin the card it posts; members subscribe from its buttons.
